The Sunwest Village neighborhood is a suburb (still in development) in the West Waco area, along the popular Hwy 84 corridor. The community is spread over 290 acres and is a top choice among families and individuals looking for a comfortable and modern lifestyle.
One of the unique features of Sunwest is the 11-acre Trail Blazer Park, a beautiful amenity within the community. Sunwest started development in the late 90s with the first home completed in 1999. New home construction continues today. You can find a wide choice of single-family homes in various sizes from 1,709 SqFt to over 4,000 SqFt. Homes were built by local homebuilders, with regional builder John Houston homes joining later.
The Sunwest community offers a great blend of outdoor amenities, comfortable living and modern conveniences. This neighborhood has a McGregor zip code, but is serviced by Waco; residents here pay City of Waco taxes. When the development is completed, there should be close to 500 homes.
